Ground Work

Building Washing
Above is a building that was in need of some mold removal, and sidewalk cleaning. The building is approximately 30 years old and the stones on the side can be removed by hand with ease, let alone the use of a pressure washer.
While we did use light pressure from a pressure washer on the smooth surfaces of the building, the old pebble-stone portion of the building was cleaned with our dedicated soft wash system. Sully's Power Washing takes extreme care when cleaning delicate surfaces such as this. The idea behind soft washing, is very low pressure (under 200 psi), and very high volume. We use the system to apply a solution to the siding which kills off the mold and follow up with a light rinse to remove the solution and left behind dirt.
This form of cleaning can also be used on a surface even more delicate than the pebble stone, such as EIFS or Dryvit. A sample picture of EIFS is included below.

As you can see above, this surface is EIFS. Lots of commercial buildings are made with this due to its incredible insulating properties. However, this surface is almost as delicate as Styrofoam covered by a very thin layer of a hard material. If you tap or knock on this surface with your hand, it will have a very hollow sound, revealing its limited structural integrity.
A building owner, or company that doesn't understand this can tear through this in seconds with high pressure, leaving the property with thousands of dollars in damage and an insurance claim. With the solution used above by Sully's Power Washing, followed by a very light rinse, you can see that this takes almost a decade of dirt, mold, and grime right off!
